Go up to the lookout point

Since Wednesday April 25th, visitors can access the lookout point on top of the square tower. This new space is now accessible, escorted with a guide, every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, as well as every day of the school holidays.

This “tour of the heights” lasts 30 to 40 min and starts in the “models room”, on the ground floor of the keep. Visitors then climb the 16th century wooden staircase to the 3rd floor of the keep, followed by two successive staircases leading to the lookout point. There you will discover the ancient medieval terrace with its remains from the 14th century, surrounded by crenels reopened in 2017 and overlooking a beautiful landscape and the castle itself; all of which are topped by an impressive framework from the 16th century.

For safety reasons, children under 8 are not allowed.

The rest of the castle is still freely accessible.
